School FAQ’s

• We have not received our milk delivery or there are items missing – what shall I do?
• If you have not received your milk delivery, or you have items missing, you must report this to us by telephone or email within 24 hours in order for us to check the drivers paperwork and vehicle tracking. Any issues reported after 24 hours cannot be refunded or credited.
• A parent is querying why their child is not getting milk, but they have paid – what shall I do?
• Check that you are looking at the most up-to-date class list and check for any weekly class amendments from School Milk Services. If the child is definitely not listed, you can call the office or email and we can re-send the latest class list and check if the child should be receiving milk.
• How shall I let you know about INSET days and school closures?
• When placing your monthly Under 5’s order, be sure to mark any INSET days on thecalendar and we will take off deliveries on all accounts for these days, unless we know to deliver staff milk/kitchen goods on INSET days.
• Am we able to get bottles of milk and distribute these into cups, rather than having cartons?
• Yes, if you get in touch with the office, we can calculate the conversion of children to bottles and we can deliver this and provide you with cups.
• Do you take on new school registrations?
• Yes, if you do not currently use School Milk Services as your milk supplier, you can give the office a call on 01934 510950, and we can discuss options and set up an account for you.
• Why do I have to verify the milk claims with the NMRU?
• All settings who are receiving free milk for Under 5’s have to verify attendance each month to allow the Government to reimburse us for the deliveries.
• How do I complete the Nursery Milk Claim?
• You need to log into your account at www.nurserymilk.co.uk and submit attendance figures for each day of the claim period. You can find full instructions here.
